How to Download Public Instagram Reels Links
This workflow is for public Instagram Reel pages that can be accessed without bypassing account privacy.
Copy the Reel link
Open the Reel in Instagram, choose Share, and copy the link. A normal Reel page uses an `/reel/` path. Some shared links contain extra parameters; use the full link that Instagram gives you.
Open the Instagram Reels Downloader
Paste the link into GetVDO. The analyzer checks the public page and returns only the media formats that are accessible for that source.
If Instagram asks you to sign in
A link that requires login, belongs to a private account, or is restricted cannot be made public by GetVDO. If you know the post is public, try opening its canonical `/reel/` URL in a normal browser first.
Choose a format
Select a video quality shown by the downloader. Audio Only is available only when an accessible audio stream exists.
Use content responsibly
Download only media you own or have permission to use. A public URL does not automatically grant permission to republish someone else’s work.
