This privacy notice describes the technical data handled when you use GetVDO.

URLs and processing

When you submit a Facebook URL, the server processes that URL to retrieve publicly accessible media information. Fast downloads can be streamed directly. Some highest-quality downloads use temporary files for merging or compatibility conversion.

Temporary files

Temporary media files used for processing are deleted after delivery when the request completes. A scheduled cleanup also removes abandoned temporary files after a limited period.

Technical logs

Like most web services, GetVDO and its hosting infrastructure may keep technical access and error logs that can include IP address, timestamp, requested path, browser information, and diagnostic data. These logs are used for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

Advertising and cookies

If advertising is enabled, GetVDO may use Google AdSense or related Google advertising services. Those services may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and protect advertising. Where consent is legally required, an appropriate consent mechanism should be presented before relevant advertising storage or personalized advertising is used.

Third-party services

GetVDO uses infrastructure providers such as DNS, CDN, security, and hosting services. Advertising providers may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser information, page URL, and ad-interaction data according to their own policies when advertising is enabled.
